PRO DRIVE HUB LTD

VEHICLE RETURNS, REFUNDS & WARRANTY POLICY

Motor Vehicle Sales • Swanley, Kent

1. CUSTOMER / RETAIL SALES

This policy applies to vehicles sold by Pro Drive Hub Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). Vehicles are generally used vehicles and may show age-, mileage-and use-related wear. Customers are encouraged to inspect and test-drive the vehicle and, where appropriate, arrange an independent inspection before purchase. Clearly disclosed defects, cosmetic marks and ordinary wear are not treated as undisclosed faults.

2. 14-DAY DEALER RETURN GUARANTEE

Subject to statutory rights, Pro Drive Hub Ltd provides a 14-day dealer return guarantee for a genuine major mechanical or electrical fault that materially affects normal operation or makes the vehicle unroadworthy. This is NOT a general change-of-mind guarantee. A customer cannot return a vehicle merely because they no longer want it, have found another vehicle, dislike its colour/specification/driving characteristics, or are dissatisfied with normal used-vehicle characteristics.

3. FAULTS & INSPECTION

Qualifying faults may include significant failures of essential components such as an engine, gearbox or safety-critical system, where the fault was not disclosed before sale. Normal maintenance, wear and consumables-including tyres, brakes, clutch components, battery, bulbs, wipers, exhaust/suspension items, cosmetic/trim issues, air-conditioning or infotainment issues—are not automatically qualifying faults.

IMPORTANT: The customer must contact us promptly and give us a reasonable opportunity to inspect and diagnose the vehicle.

Substantial repairs through another garage should NOT be authorised without contacting us first, except where immediate action is reasonably necessary for safety.

4. CUSTOMER USE & RETURN CONDITION

The vehicle must be used responsibly and in accordance with applicable law. The customer should stop driving if continued use could reasonably cause further damage. Damage arising from misuse, neglect, accident, racing, abnormal use, unauthorised modification or continued use after a serious warning may affect a claim, subject to statutory rights. A returned vehicle should be in substantially the same condition, allowing for reasonable use, and include all keys, V5C/logbook and documents/accessories supplied.

5. RETURN & REFUND

Where a return is agreed or the customer is legally entitled to reject the vehicle, it should be returned to our Swanley premises unless otherwise agreed. Once the vehicle and required documentation are received, we will inspect and verify the return. Where a refund is due, our target processing period is up to 14 days from the date the vehicle and required documentation are received. Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method. Where legislation requires an earlier refund, the statutory timeframe applies.

TRADE / MOTOR DEALER SALES - SOLD AS SEEN / SPARES OR REPAIR

IMPORTANT - TRADE SALES ONLY: Where a vehicle is purchased by a motor trader/dealer, including a vehicle acquired as a part-exchange, trade purchase, clearance vehicle or other trade/business transaction, the vehicle is offered and sold on a SOLD AS SEEN • SPARES OR REPAIR basis. NO DEALER WARRANTY IS PROVIDED. The buyer is expected to inspect the vehicle and satisfy themselves as to its condition, specification, mileage and suitability before purchase. Once the vehicle has been collected or leaves Pro Drive Hub Ltd's premises, NO RETURN, EXCHANGE OR REFUND WILL BE ACCEPTED, except where a right cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. The trade buyer accepts responsibility for transporting, repairing, preparing and reselling the vehicle. This provision does not purport to exclude any mandatory legal rights applicable to the transaction.

6. FINANCE, PART-EXCHANGE & COMPLAINTS

Finance agreements may have separate rights and customers should also contact the finance provider. For part-exchange transactions, the part-exchange position will be dealt with as part of the overall transaction and as permitted by law. Complaints should be submitted promptly in writing with the registration, purchase date, fault details and supporting evidence where available. We may investigate suspected misuse, deliberate damage, false information, tampering or fraudulent claims.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or limits any consumer or other legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Consumers retain applicable rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable UK legislation. If this policy conflicts with a mandatory legal right, that legal right prevails.

ADDITIONAL RETURN CHARGES AFTER 14 DAYS

If a customer requests to return the vehicle for any reason more than 14 days after purchase, where the return is accepted or agreed, the following charges will apply: €150 administration fee, £100 car valeting fee, and 50p per mile for each mile driven after purchase.
